1. Ninety days of residential weight loss and Diabetic Fitness addressing the above issues, attending bootcamp, learning how to eat, what to eat.
2. Vitamin supplements, 3-hour a day total work outs, charting my work outs.
3. I was able to maintain my sugar reduced to 90-150 daily readings.
4. My weight dropped to 185 lbs., which I maintain.
5. Learned how Diabetic Fitness is very important - I now know I must maintain proper nutrition until I die; daily exercise is also my life-long commitment.
6. My grade report that I give for my own self efforts is a B+ along with the help and guidance from Debra.
I commend you to for reaching out to teach men and women of all ages, shape and sizes to obtain the higest quality of life at an affordable rate. My visit was a special Senior Fitness Retreat.
Whats more important than our health and quality of life?
By the way it never too late: I am a senior citizen and will be 69 years old soon.
Big Chuck Diabetic Fitness Client
David fulfilled his own self-promises at men’s senior weight loss camp.
Senior Weight Loss Camp | Fit for 70 at Las Vegas Live-in Fitness
This was a long-standing goal for David and he eagerly joined the two other younger men at the private residential weight loss camp.
He had just sold his company to enter into retirement life and needed to lose weight and get back into shape.
Tony, age 53 was rebuilding his body after surviving cancer and chemotherapy. Donald, age 48 was on a mission to overcome health risks brought on by several years of self-neglect.
The three men bonded and set about on an adventure that pushed them all on to a much higher level than they had anticipated. See David’s video highlight story of his adventures at senior weight loss camp to see how it worked!
Senior Weight Loss Camp Gets 79-year-old Fit for 80th at Las Vegas Live-in Fitness
Walter’s son contacted Debra at Las Vegas Live-in Fitness after viewing her web page and videos on “Senior Weight Loss Camp“.
After years of spousal care giving followed by 3 years of sedentary bereavement, he had lost interest in all that once kept him active. They needed a customized program suitable for Walter to start at a very low level of physical capability.
Debra explained that her approach for senior weight loss camp clients was the same as for any other special population; assess then progress.
After seeing what Walter was comfortable doing, the progress began. Small steps toward improvement were made in each of the workout sessions taking place throughout the day. Over the period of one month, Walter had exceeded his own expectations.
The Adult Tricycle is used in Senior Weight Loss Camp conditioning program.
A major aspect of Walter’s cardio workouts were done on an industrial tricycle as seen in the video highlight story below. This gave him the stability he needed while enhancing leg and lung power. Also, his weight-bearing cardio workouts utilized Nordic trekking poles. Again, stability was optimized while redistributing efforts onto his upper body to help off load the legs. This worked well for Walter and in a short while he regained the confidence to walk with greater stamina and stability. He then began to plan travel and sightseeing trips for the near future!
The quality of Walter’s life was greatly enhanced by increasing his ability for life’s daily tasks with a nice reserve left over for recreation.
Update: Since leaving Debra’s Senior Weight Loss Camp, Walter has ridden his mountain bike 40 minutes daily and claims he will never give it up again.
Fitness Icon Devoted A Lifetime to Health and Fitness, Teaching the Fitness Lifestyle
Jack LaLanne started the first fitness show on TV in 1957 at age 43 when he taught viewers the fitness lifestyle.
Television had just become available in American households and his popular program continued to air for 34 years. His message was always consistent and his life exemplified health, and wellness through a fitness lifestyle. As a child, I cannot forget my activities in front of the television while mimicking Jack Lalanne’s exercises.
He enjoyed the benefit of good health until his recent death at age 96 and had exercised daily throughout his life. For his 60th and 70th birthdays he performed public exhibitions with his physical fitness feats that were amazing. Jack Lalanne swam a mile and a half with his hands shackled while pulling 70 boats full of people to celebrate his 70 years of life. He claimed he did this to prove to people that anything is possible at any age when you life a fitness lifestyle.
Due to his fitness lifestyle, Jack was an inspiration to countless people for health and fitness.
His mentor was Paul Bragg, the legendary nutrition guru who started the first health food stores. You can still purchase Bragg food products such as Bragg’s Amino Acids at any food store in the health section.
